Mexico in images

The following images are from Flickr.com or Yahoo images. If any of them belongs to you and you are unhappy about me using it then feel to contact me. Thanks.

This is my image of Mexico as of now and hopefully by the end of this class I can learn alot more about their artwork as well as culture.

Cancun! The picture speaks for itself. This place is beautiful.

Here's a photo of a Mexican woman dancing in a what I would assume is a traditional colorful outfit. I love the vibrant colors of this painting.

A fun image of a Mexican bullfighter.

A very homely painting of the Mexican marketplace. The painting was done with very warm and earthy colors which give it a welcomed looks.

A collage of photos of the Tijiuana and San Diego border that I find very interesting. You can see a clash between two very different cultures from the people to the artwork on the walls.

Hi Jason, I loved your images of Mexico. They are actually ones I would have liked to find. I liked your, "ME" images too. They're not real busy, simply stated. Very nice.

I can appreciate that you said that this was your image of Mexico now and that hopefully it will change as the semester goes on. I think it will a lot! It was interesting to see what you thought. The woman dancing is actually not in everyday traditional dress. It is traditional for a style of dance called folklorico but people are not just running around in that.

yes, I agree...it will be so interesting to see how our images of Mexico and therefore our perceptions of Mexican culture and people change as the semester goes forward...

I find your last image to be simply cool. I love when people decide they want to be creative with their photography. I can see how the city is "upside-down."
